The city at it’s finest

Today the group split up so everyone could do their own thing. Judith and I where suppose to go shopping in Soho because that’s where we saw al the cute boutiques. Instead of shopping we walked around the neighbourhood and saw nice streets and crazy high buildings people live in, we really experienced some of the Hong Kong culture it was quite impressive. Also we randomly bumped into the worlds tallest escalator. Like two kids Judith and I ran to the very end of the escalator to find out… They didn’t make one that goes back down.

Anyway, in the end we got so distracted by all Hong Kong had to offer that we didn’t buy anything. The shops in Soho turned out not to be what we expected, but when we got back to out hotel we found out that all the nice shops where just around the corner. By time we discovered them everything was closing. Honestly I don’t think this was an mistake. I truely believe this was God protecting my bank account from me.

Mood: For a second, imagine living on the 34th floor and the elevator is having some technical difficulties…
